Synopsis

When ambitious young salesman Barry Greene heads to Detroit to meet an important client, he thinks he's landed the opportunity of a lifetime. Unbeknownst to him, the attractive Ellen he meets in the waiting room is actually the daughter of the businessman he's supposed to see. Constantly neglected by her father, Ellen takes an interest in Barry, but his business meeting ends in failure. While the other "traveling husbands" (married salesmen) party wildly at the hotel, Barry's only concern is keeping his date with Ellen. But things take a dark turn when his colleague Ben makes unwanted advances toward Ellen, and a jealous woman from Ben's past, Ruby, fires a gun—turning a night of fun into a murder investigation .
